This exhibition comprises compelling, multifaceted art-works: unique works of leather, bringing the past to the present; fine combination of metal and wire art, creating a surreal mood through bizarre imagery; oil paintings that redefine traditional naturalist scenery such as rural landscape, roses and broken leaves; comic art and sculptures. The exhibition is the first series of an arts incubator that provides Eastern Cape audiences a first opportunity to experience in depth, the works of their very own young artist transformed to emerging artists.
Curated by Churchill Madikida, a renowned Eastern Cape born artist based in Johannesburg, the exhibition open to the public on Thursday, 2nd December, 2010, and will remain on show for public viewing through December 2010 and January 2011
