NELSON MANDELA COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

The Nelson Mandela Museum embraced International Mandela Day as one of its initiatives to preserve the legacy and values of Nelson Mandela by making a difference in the lives of the needy and to inspire debate on the topical matters that affect South Africans.

The day is celebrated globally on Nelson Mandela’s birthday date of the 18th of July. The celebrations in different forms are an acknowledgment of his active involvement with politics for 67 years. The museum dedicate this day by conducting CSI projects that benefit disadvantaged communities, women, children and schools.
