MANDELA WAX FIGURE EXHIBITION HOSTED AT THE NELSON MANDELA MUSEUM

The Nelson Mandela Museum at the Bhunga Building is hosting the monumental Wax and Clay Statues from the Lungelo Wax Museum.

Lungelo Wax Museum is a brain child of Lungelo Gumede who is currently operating at the Bat Centre in Durban.

The Lungelo Wax Museum has partnered with Nelson Mandela Museum to display wax figures of Nelson Mandela for a period of two months at the museum, starting from the 13th of May 2021 until to date. The Mandela statue exhibition depicts his life journey from his childhood to the day he departed from this earth.

The specially designed life size wax statues is compliment the exhibition that is currently on show at the museum.
